Nice to see a sporting event in London’s largest borough. Many cyclists pass through Croydon on the way to Brighton and the South Downs during warmer weekends, so it was good to see people stop by. The race bought out the enthusiasts along-side the curious locals and bystanders. A spectacle full of fun and incident lived up to expectations. Hopefully it’ll encourage more people to take up riding, either as a form of transportation or for fun.
